Screening of the film Demain/Tomorrow- award winning documentary of pioneering initiatives round the world to look after our planet life and populations better.
This forthcoming year new arrangements are being made with re-gard to the preparation for the sacraments. I am sure that I am not the only person to see a sharp drop off in the numbers attending Mass since First Holy Communion in May. This is a welcoming Parish, the standard of Liturgy is good, and children are welcome here. It is not for me to judge such families, and I have no wish to do so, but I do as a Parish Priest have a duty of care towards the precious things of God that runs in parallel with the commitment made by parents when they had their child baptised.

The first steps have now been taken to establish the St Margaret’s pastoral Council. The original meeting of Thursday 23rd March was well attended. For which I am very grateful.
The Council will be composed of fifteen members, three from each of the five different areas of Parish Life; Supporting Parish Life; Pastoral Outreach; Liturgy, Catechetics and Care of the Property. The Council members would help animate, with other volunteers the life and mission of the Parish.
Provided we have sunshine, it should be lovely with the autumn colouring - more details at the weekend.
