Family Day of Prayer. A celebration of Catholic Faith, Prayer and Family.
Dear Friends in Christ,
I can now formally inform you that I shall be leaving St Margaret of Scotland. My time here has gone ever so quickly.
I shall be going on Sabbatical and my successor is Canon Peter Newby who will take up his position here in September and he will also be Chaplain to St Mary's University.
I take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you for your kindness and generosity. I wish you all every blessing and may God bless you all.
I'm currently looking to recruit some members of the parish to help manage the website. This could ideally be suited to the younger members of the parish, but all are welcome to help. The only requirement is to be computer literate.
This is an opportunity to help support the community while also adding some experience to your CV. Areas which you could help in are:

The church has again booked a stall at this event, and we will be selling bric-a-brac in aid of the Church Building Fund.
We hope the Parish will come together to celebrate and at the same time wish Fr Christopher well as he takes his sabbatical. After 10:30 mass.
We learned this week of the departure of Christine Fahey, a parishioner of St Margarets for many years, who is now moving to the country.
In Summer 2016, a group of young people from St Margaret's will be travelling to Krakow, Poland for World Youth Day (WYD) 2016.
A Big Thank you to Erica Walker and her son, Daniel, for organising the Healing Mass on Wednesday evening. A most joyous and uplifting occasion.
A grateful Christian.
A huge thank you for your very generous support for David, Catherine and Brett in the Richmond half marathon last Sunday. All three finished in good personal times and thankfully with no injuries!
Thank you everyone who helped to build the coin trail this year. We made it to the end of the path, using 2170 coins and raising a total of £148.40 towards the Lenten Project.
