Ministers of Holy Communion |

The Eucharist is at the heart and centre of our liturgy and we are invited to participate in a more extensive way by being lay ministers of communion. This ministry is not for efficiency experts, nor for those who are unable to look another in the eye. It is for you and me, for people who, by their nature, care about and are at ease with other people, without regard for status or for distinctions. If we gather at the Lord's table as sisters and brothers in the Lord, we can help as lay ministers of communion.
